What to expect and how to prepare
This class weaves slow, mindful movements with breath to nourish the body and cultivate calm, confidence, and ease in movement. We ease into the practice with gentle stretches to encourage suppleness and range of motion, then find grounding poses to build strength, stability and balance. Breathwork and inspirational themes are woven throughout, connecting body, mind and heart into a slow somatic movement flow. Bring anything that supports your practice: blocks, blankets, cushions are helpful but not necessary. Essential: a mat with a non-slippery surface.
